. . . All About The Rugs
I specialize in weft-faced rug weaving. The weave structure I use produces a very durable rug (for the floor or wall) and many of my designs result in a fully reversible textile.
I am often producing two rugs in one.
My preference is to weave wool rugs. I purchase wool from US sources and try to use wool from the Americas or New Zealand.
Once off the loom, I finish weft-faced rugs by hand twining and darning the warp ends (see right). This is an ancient finishing method which creates secure, clean, crisp edges.
Prices vary by design, materials, and weaving complexity. Average Price Per Square Foot is available upon request. Please contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
